Key Features Comparison: EcoFlow Delta 2 MAX vs. ZERO BREEZE ElecHive

Power/Performance

Both power systems are power horses. With around 2000Wh capacity each you are ready for big off grid adventures.

However there are some differences. The ElecHive has more capacity with 2400Wh vs. 2048Wh. The ElecHive will be able to store more energy and thus will have a longer battery life with one charge.

On the other hand, the EcoFlow Delta 2 MAX has more power, with 2400W compared to the 2000W of the ElecHive.

This means that the ElecHive can stand larger or more appliances at once compared to the ElecHive.

So it depends if you want to use more (or larger) appliances at once or want a battery that has more capacity and therefore longer battery life.

Portability & Design

When it comes to portability, the ElecHive weighing “only” 40 lbs definitely wins the battle here. Not only is it much lighter than the EcoFlow Delta MAX 2, but also smaller.

If portability is important to you than it is a no brainer.

Battery Life and Expandability

Both batteries are differently made. The ElecHive has an NMC battery compared to the LFP of the Delta 2 MAX.

Hence, the cycle life of the Delta 2 MAX is significantly longer with around 3000 cycles compared to 2300 cycles on the ElecHive. After this point, the batteries will have a capacity of 80% max.

It’s possible to expand the capacity of the EcoFlow Delta MAX 2 with 2 extra batteries. This way you’ll have a backup capacity of 6000Wh in total. These additional batteries should be bought separate.

This is not an option for the ElecHive.

Charging Time and Solar Compatibility

To fully charge both batteries to 100%, it wil take 1.6 hours for the Delta 2 MAX and 2 hours for the ElecHive.

Both power systems are compatible with solar panels.

Price and Value for Money

Both portable power systems are very qualitative and give excellent value for money. The EcoFlow’s price is quite high compared to the ElecHive. However, on the Delta 2 MAX are some good deals and discounts as well.
