In terms of portability and design it’s something else. Don’t get it wrong. The Delta Pro has a solid design and for a high end solar generator with these specs EcoFlow did a good job making it as portable as it can be. The built-in ‘trolley’ system lets you move it around like a suitcase. However, the design looks a bit like a gaming computer on steroids. Unless you need to put it in a narrow space, we prefer a more cubic casing like the Jackery. Not only is the Delta Pro a lot bigger compared to the Jackery, it’s also a lot heavier. On the other hand, the Explorer 3000 Pro also has a built in “trolley” system, is smaller and lighter and has a cubic shape which is much more stable. Therefore, the Jackery Explorer 3000 Pro is the best choice if portability is your priority.
Battery Life and Expandability – winner: EcoFlow Delta Pro
Obviously it’s hard to test the battery life of these models since it would take us many years to see how they hold up. We have to look at what is advertised and the battery type also can tell us some more about what to expect. For the Jackery this is a bit disappointing. According to Jackery you will get 2000 cycles until its maximum capacity falls back to 70%. On a solar generator in this price segment we would expect better. Also disappointing is that they come with a Lithium-ion battery instead of an LFP battery such as the EcoFlow. On the Delta Pro, however, you’ll get 3000 cycles until 80%(!). Note the difference here of an extra 1000 cycles and 10% less depreciation of the max battery capacity.
In terms of expandability, the Delta Pro is the best choice. The expandability options here are almost endless. You can connect your Delta Pro with other Delta Pro units or extra batteries for a total max capacity of 25000Wh. You can basically create an independent power system for your home which can allow you to power your entire home for a week.

Both models have a max AC input of 1800W. In theory this means they would charge at the same pace. However, as mentioned above the EcoFlow has more capacity so it will take a bit longer (2.7 hours) for it to fully charge at 1800W compared to the Jackery (2.4 hours). So one could say that the charging speed is better on the Jackery. Well… actually it’s not.
If we take every charging method into account, such as AC charging, solar charging, and DC charging, the EcoFlow is again the better performer. It has a higher solar charging input compared to the Jackery Explorer 3000 Pro (1600W vs. 1200W). In addition, as mentioned before there is the option to charge it at an EV fast-charging station. MultiCharge allows you to charge the Delta Pro via different methods simultaneously which reduces the charging time to 1.7 hours.
