What is the Nature’s Generator Elite?
The Nature’s Generator Elite is a versatile and eco-friendly power solution designed for both emergency backup and off-grid applications. Combining solar, wind, and traditional AC charging options, it aims to provide users with reliable power in a sustainable package.
Nature’s Generator is committed to providing clean, renewable energy through its innovative solar and wind-powered portable generators. Founded to address the environmental impact of gas-powered generators and ensure reliable power during emergencies, the company has supported thousands during natural disasters like Hurricane Maria and Hurricane Lane.
Features of Nature’s Generator Elite
The Nature’s Generator Elite offers a compact and eco-friendly solution for backup power and off-grid use. Below, we highlight its key features and our experience with each.

Power Output
The inverter delivers a maximum output of 3600W and a continuous output of 2880W. This pure sine wave output ensures compatibility with sensitive electronics like laptops and medical equipment.
In our tests, the inverter performed consistently, maintaining stable power under varying loads.
Battery
The generator uses an AGM sealed lead-acid battery with a capacity of 1200Wh (12V, 100Ah). The lead-acid chemistry is heavier compared to LFP or NMC alternatives found in other brands, but it’s a more budget-friendly choice.
However, battery lifespan of these batteries will be rather short. The battery lifespan is designed for about 300-500 charge cycles under optimal conditions.
The unit requires periodic recharging every four months when not in use to maintain battery health.
Ports & Expandability

The unit includes:
- 3x 120V AC outlets,
- 2x USB ports 3A/15W
- 1x 12V DC port (240W max).
- 1x 350A expansion port
- 1x 30A outlet
The Nature’s Generator Elite supports multiple charging inputs:
- AC Charging: Up to 190W
- Solar Input: 300W max
- Wind Input: 300W max
We particularly appreciated the option to charge it via wind power out of the box. This is something that most portable power stations on the market don’t offer. If you want to use wind power charging you will have to get the Nature’s Generator Wind Turbine.
On the other hand, the charging specs for all types of charging are rather low. Especially for the AC charging.
Design & Build
This generator is very heavy and large considering the 1200Wh battery capacity. it’s size is 23 x 17 x 22 inches with the included cart and weighing a mind blowing 120 lbs. This illustrates the cheaper battery being used in this model.
The build is not bad but not rugged either. The plastic housing lacks a bit of quality compared to other brands.
Also the LCD display is not a prize winner. It does what it needs to do but is rather rudimentary and of limited quality.
Portability
Despite its weight, the cart makes it relatively easy to transport. However, in our opinion a power station of 1200Wh shouldn’t weigh that much.
The cart feature is particularly helpful for setting up in RVs, campsites, or during outdoor events. Especially when using additional Power Pod batteries, which you can place on top of the Elite on the same cart (up to 2 Power Pods).
Its weight means it’s best suited for semi-permanent installations or scenarios where frequent movement isn’t required. You can remove the cart but it is a bit of a hassle to remove it and attach it again.
Finally, if you leave the cart on it takes quite some extra space in the trunk.
Who is Nature’s Generator Elite useful for?
The Nature’s Generator Elite is perfect for homeowners seeking an affordable backup power solution. It’s also suitable for RV users, and those living in areas prone to power outages.
We wouldn’t recommend it for outdoor enthusiast and campers considering the limited portability capacity.
In-Dept Field Testing
How did we test?
We subjected the Nature’s Generator Elite to rigorous testing to assess its capabilities across different scenarios. Our tests included:
- AC Discharge Test
- Moderate Load Test
- Heavy Load Test
- Extreme Load Test
- AC Charge Test
- Solar Charging Test

AC Discharge Test
The generator consistently powered a standard refrigerator and additional devices for over 4 hours on a single charge, demonstrating reliable performance for emergency scenarios.
Moderate Load Test
We powered a laptop, a TV, and a small coffee maker simultaneously. The generator handled the load effortlessly for about 6 hours, highlighting its suitability for everyday household use during outages.
Heavy Load Test
The generator handled high-demand devices like a microwave without tripping, although it reached its upper load limit when combined with other appliances.
Extreme Load Test
In our extreme load test, we intentionally exceeded the generator’s capacity by connecting devices that required more power than it could deliver. The safety mechanism kicked in, and the system safely shut down to prevent damage. After disconnecting the overload, it resumed normal operation seamlessly.
AC Charge Test
The generator recharged fully from a standard AC outlet in about 7 hours. As mentioned before this is very slow charging performance and possibly a deal breaker.
Solar Charging Test
With a 300W solar panel, it recharged from 20% to 100% in about 5 hours under full sunlight. The built-in charge controller efficiently managed the input without overheating.
Pros and Cons
Pros of the Nature’s Generator Elite:
- Wind power charge option
- Stable pure sine wave output for sensitive electronics.

Best PriceComparison: Nature’s Generator Elite vs. Bluetti AC180
We can make a good comparison with the Bluetti AC180. Both models have practically the same battery capacity but the Nature’s Generator Elite has a higher power output.
Although being similar, the Elite weighs 3x more than the AC180 Bluetti.
Other User Reviews and Feedback
The Nature’s Generator Elite gets good reviews from its users. The average score is 4.8 stars out of 5 stars.
This is what a user had to say about it:
I got 2 power pods and 3600 elite I’m running 3 freezers electric went down for 3 days and it kept my food frozen for the 3 days thank you nature’s generator your great
What about the alternatives?
An alternative to look for in this price range and similar specs is definitely the AC180 from Bluetti. Its retail price is even lower and the specs are generally spoken better compared to the Elite which results in better value for money.
Pricing & Value for Money
The pricing of this unit is definitely not bad and budget friendly. You pay $0.67 per Watt-hour when buying the Elite which is a good value for money when only taking into account the battery capacity.
However, the value for money drops a bit when we look at its competitors and what they offer for less money.
